Guiding from the spotlight and behind it.
Like a theatre
director, our educators set the stage for meaningful experiences. They encourage children to explore
ideas, take risks, and express themselves freely. Behind the scenes, teachers observe carefully,
record growth, and craft personalised learning journeys for every child.
They spark curiosity with open-ended questions and thought-provoking prompts.
They design immersive learning environments and experiences tailored to young minds.
They document each child's progress to better understand their individual learning journey.
They curate high-quality resources and materials that inspire wonder and engagement.
Empowered teachers make empowered learners.
We believe great
teaching stems from continued growth. That's why The Laureates invests in our educators
personal and professional development, offering enriching experiences throughout the year.
Workshop-Based Learning
Regular workshops
led by experts cover storytelling, classroom management, play-based learning, numeracy, and
more. Teachers also choose topics based on their personal interests, creating a truly
self-driven learning path.
Teachers observe one another's classrooms using a shared framework. These sessions end with open, reflective conversations where feedback is constructive and solutions-focused. It's how we build consistency, excellence, and trust.
This is followed by a reflective conversation between the observer and the one being observed. This provides teachers with opportunities to provide constructive feedback and implement ideas and suggestions from others. Teachers are provided with a classroom observation criteria so that clear expectations from a classroom environment are established - observing teachers use this criteria as the basis for providing feedback.
We grow teachers, so teachers can grow children.
At The Laureates, our investment in educators is the foundation of everything we do. When teachers feel inspired, supported, and confident” every child benefits.
